So... everything's coming together.
3 days and polly will be home. 10 days and we'll get the bikes... and not any old bikes... Superhuman bikes for a superhuman adventure... Zululand to UK by pedalpower.
It's going to be an aventure of a lifetime - crossing the vast dessert and salt pans of the Kalahari, battling with the rapids of the Zambezi, visiting remote islands in Lake Malawi, crossing the open planes of Western Tanzania keeping the campfire going all night to ward off elephant and lion, working in a hospital in Ethiopia that caters for 1 million people - yet only has 3 Drs, climbing the highest mountain in Ethiopia, crossing the open wastelands of Sudan (if we're allowed over the border)...
